What we do

How we work

1. Scoping call. Thirty minutes on your systems, data volumes and the outcome you need. You get a view on feasibility and a cost range on the call.
2. Discovery. A short paid phase establishing what is really in the source system, what is in scope, and the cutover date. This is where a fixed price becomes possible.
3. Fixed project quote. Quoted after discovery and not revised mid-project, because the unknowns were removed first.
4. Build and trial load. Work delivered against the agreed scope, with a trial run on real data before anything is committed.
5. Reconciliation and parallel run. Evidence the result is correct, in a form your auditor accepts.
6. Cutover, handover and support. Documentation, your team trained, agreed support terms.

Why the reconciliation matters more than the migration

Any competent team can move rows between systems. What separates a migration that works from one that quietly damages a business is whether anyone proved the result. We treat reconciliation as a deliverable with a document behind it — trial balance, party-wise balances, tax records and stock, each agreed and each difference explained to a cause rather than netted off or parked in suspense. That pack is what you hand your auditor.

Who we are

TACHY EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is a software company in Patna, Bihar, recognised under Startup India (DIPP260957). We build and run our own institution-management platform — TACHY School ERP and College & University ERP — used by schools and colleges in India and the Gulf. The enterprise practice exists because that product work made us good at the unglamorous part: extracting, mapping, reconciling and cutting over financial and operational data without losing anything.

We are not an SAP implementation partner. If an assessment concludes that S/4HANA is the right destination for you, we will tell you that and point you to a partner rather than sell you something else.

What does TACHY's enterprise practice actually do?

Data migration and automation for Indian businesses: SAP to Tally Prime migration, ERP and legacy data migration from Excel, Tally or in-house systems, ledger and trial-balance reconciliation, AI automation for finance and back-office teams, and ERP implementation consulting. It runs alongside our own school, college and university ERP product.

How are engagements priced?

Per project, not per user or per seat. A short paid discovery phase establishes what is really in the source system and what is in scope, and a fixed project quote follows from that. Quoting before discovery would either pad the price or guarantee a mid-project revision, so we do neither.

Are you an SAP implementation partner?

No, and we say so up front. We handle the off-ramp — moving financial accounting, statutory history and inventory out of SAP into a system your team can run, with reconciliation evidence. If an assessment concludes that S/4HANA is right for you, we will tell you and point you to an SAP partner.

Do you work with companies outside education?

Yes. The enterprise practice serves manufacturing, trading, distribution and services businesses, and is separate from the school and college ERP product line. The shared capability is getting financial and operational data out of systems reliably and proving the result reconciles.
