Biometric Student Attendance System Project for Hyderabad Schools: Pricing, Features & Setup

Quick Answer: A biometric student attendance system project for Hyderabad schools replaces manual registers with face recognition, delivering real-time parent alerts, CBSE-compliant reports, and fee integration. TACHY School ERP deploys in 3–7 days at Rs.49/student/year, includes free data migration and training, and covers 25+ modules like transport tracking, exams, and HR payroll.

Why Hyderabad Schools Are Replacing Manual Registers

Hyderabad schools across CBSE, ICSE, and Telangana State Board face daily friction with paper registers: proxy attendance, delayed parent notifications, and hours lost compiling monthly reports for board audits. A biometric student attendance system project solves this by using face recognition at entry gates or classroom tablets — no RFID cards to lose, no thumb scanners that fail on dry skin. Teachers mark attendance in seconds; parents get instant WhatsApp/SMS alerts; administrators export board-ready reports in one click. The shift also plugs revenue leaks — late-fee defaulters are flagged automatically when attendance drops below 75%.

How Much Does a Biometric Student Attendance System Project Cost in Hyderabad?

Pricing varies wildly — standalone biometric hardware vendors quote Rs.15,000–50,000 per device plus annual AMC, while full ERP suites charge per-student subscriptions. TACHY School ERP bundles face-recognition attendance, fee automation, exams, report cards, transport GPS, HR payroll, and a parent app at Rs.49/student/year with no hardware lock-in (works on any Android tablet). For a 1,200-student school, that’s Rs.58,800/year — often less than one hardware device’s AMC. Free data migration and staff training are included; go-live takes 3–7 days after contract signing.

What Features Should You Demand in a School Attendance ERP?

Not every "biometric" system delivers what Hyderabad principals actually need. Use this checklist before signing:

• [ ] Face recognition that works in low light, with masks, and for primary-grade children
• [ ] Offline-first sync — attendance captured even during internet outages, auto-uploads when online
• [ ] CBSE/ICSE/Telangana State Board report formats pre-configured (Form 9, Form 10, monthly summaries)
• [ ] Fee module linkage — auto-flag students with >3 consecutive absences for fee follow-up
• [ ] Parent app with live attendance %, homework, circulars, and fee receipts
• [ ] Transport GPS integration — bus boarding/deboarding logged via same face ID
• [ ] Teacher mobile app for class-wise marking, leave requests, substitution alerts
• [ ] Role-based access — principal sees school-wide trends; class teacher sees only their section
• [ ] Data sovereignty — hosted on Indian servers (MeitY empanelled cloud), GDPR/IT Act compliant
• [ ] Free migration of existing student master, fee history, and staff records

How Long Does Implementation Take for a Hyderabad School?

Most vendors underestimate the timeline. A realistic biometric student attendance system project plan with TACHY looks like this:

• Day 1–2: Kickoff call, tenant provisioning, admin accounts created
• Day 2–3: Free data migration — student master, parent contacts, fee ledgers, staff records uploaded and validated
• Day 3–4: Face enrollment camps — class-wise photo capture on tablets (5 mins/student), parent consent forms collected
• Day 4–5: Teacher training (1-hour Zoom + recorded videos), parent app rollout via WhatsApp broadcast
• Day 5–7: Live attendance at gate/classroom, parallel run with registers for 2 days, then full cutover
• Post-go-live: Dedicated CSM for 30 days, monthly health-check calls, unlimited support tickets

No wiring, no server room, no IT hire needed. Works on existing Wi-Fi and ₹8,000 Android tablets.

Can the Same System Handle Exams, Report Cards & Transport?

Yes — that’s the ERP advantage. Attendance isn’t a silo; it feeds exams (eligibility checks), report cards (auto-populate attendance % in CBSE/State formats), and transport (bus boarding = attendance proxy). Fee reminders trigger when attendance dips. HR payroll uses staff face-login for punch-in. One database, 25+ modules, single parent app. Schools in Hyderabad using TACHY report 40% admin time saved and zero board-audit discrepancies last session. FAQ

### Is face recognition reliable for primary school children in Hyderabad’s climate?

Yes. Modern liveness detection works with sweat, humidity, and minor facial changes. TACHY’s model is trained on Indian school datasets and runs locally on the tablet — no cloud latency. Fallback: teacher can mark manually with one tap if face fails twice.

### What happens to our existing student data and fee records?

Free migration is standard. Our team maps your Excel/CSV/old ERP fields to TACHY’s schema, validates counts with you, and imports within 48 hours. Zero data loss in 200+ school migrations.

### Can we start with just attendance and add modules later?

Absolutely. The Rs.49/student/year price unlocks all 25+ modules from day one — no phased pricing. Enable fee, transport, exams, or HR when ready. No contract lock-in; annual renewal.
